You see the factory's price and our fee on separate invoices. The buyer pays our fee. If we ever charge the factory too, both sides are told in writing.

Why paid? Free samples tell neither side whether there's a real order behind them. Paying for samples shows serious intent and keeps the factory's time respected.

The minimum fee is what makes small orders safe
Running an order properly costs us roughly $640 per order: merchandiser time, two inspections and documentation. That cost is the same whether the order is $5,000 or $50,000.
At 6% alone, a $10,000 order would pay us $600, less than it costs to run. We could cut corners, or quietly add a margin to your unit price. Instead we publish a $1,200 minimum. It isn't a negotiating tactic, and it isn't discounted. If a buyer doesn't accept it, we decline the order rather than do it badly.

After FOB
Freight, insurance and import duties beyond the FOB point are the buyer's under standard FOB terms.
